El hard rock es un género musical derivado del rock and roll y del blues rock se supone que de los años 60´s. Hubo muchas bandas que estallaron en este género, pero el resultado final fue rockearnos a todos, principales bandas que dieron inicio a nuestro querido hard rock fueron Black Sabbath, Queen, Deep Purple y Led Zeppelin.

Fue un gran estallido de acordes y solos de guitarra, las baterias tomaban gran papel en las canciones, las voces eran fuertes e incluso dramáticas y en cuanto las letras, si eran de heavy eran un poco más oscuras pero muy geniales y si eran totalmente estilo hard rock, hablaban de chicas, drogas, libertad juvenil, ya saben, reveldía.
